Retail Merchandising Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Shows commitment to working safe, including traveling to and from project sites o Communicates with large retail customers regarding scope of work o Complete project execution:
display assembly, installation, product merchandising o Diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical issues o Ensures merchandising compliance as required by client agreement and/or scope of work o Ensures paperwork and deliverables are submitted within 24 hours of completion.
Qualifications:
o Other low voltage/IT installation applications or integrations a plus o Proven working knowledge of consumer electronics o Strong troubleshooting skills o Reliable automobile and proof of automobile insurance o Clean MVR (no more than one traffic infraction in the last 5 years, no DUI, reckless driving or similar in the last 5 years) o Ability to successfully pass a Drug Test and a Criminal Background Check PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
o Walking, bending, lifting, repetitive motion, use of hand tools and test equipment o Driving short and long distances o Ability to use a computer, blackberry and phone o Lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion o Ability to occasionally travel overnight WORK ENV
IRONMENT:
o Variety of retail establishments during business hours and non business hours o Potentially working in the home environment of consumers o Working from the cab of a vehicle o Working from home on occasion The following tools are required to be carried with you any time you are in the field working for MTI. While not every job will require the use of every tool, emergency calls can come up at any time and we need to be able to respond to them as quickly as possible. Note:

- Cordless drill with bit adapter - Charged spare battery - Philips screw drivers - #0, 1, 2 - Flat head screw drivers - 1/8, 1/4 - Ball headed allen wrenches - 1/8, 3/16, 5/32 - Drill bits - T10 and T25 security torx, #2, #3 square recess - Precision screw driver set - Philips and flat head - Channel Locks - Needle nose pliers - Cutters - preferably with a crimping notch - Multi-meter - Able to test for voltage, amperage, and continuity - Knife - Wire strippers - Camera - Minimum 2MP - pictures taken from a phone may be acceptable as long as they are clear and can adequately convey the needed information. - Allen wrench sets - SAE and Metric - Ratchet sets - SAE and Metric - Hammer - Chisel/Scraper - Corded drill - Jigsaw Required Office Tools:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
